Vintage 2010 / Ruby red. A lot of stewed summerfruit, spicyness and a warm comforting taste. Sturdy. The type of wine from which one glass is sufficient to discover its qualities. /Paired with Italian stewed beef in tomato vegetables sauce.

A great surprise from Sicily. Deep fruit with integrity and long lasting finish. Light tannins.

Superb wine. They saved the best till last. 2 years in new French Oak; 70 year old vines. Calcareous soils. Brilliant medium weight Nero d’Avola from the warmer southern coastal area. Ripe and savoury at the same time.

Killer Nero d'Avola from Vittoria, Sicily...it's organic just in case you were wondering! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Black cherry, some grilled brush herbs, leather and subtle spice, a tad bitter like a blood orange in a good way on the long, fresh finish. Great acidity!

A bit too much on the alcoholic side for my taste. But great black pepper component on the palate.

Dark & rich Italian bottle. Dark cherries, black currants with a chocolate, licorice finish. Tad past it's prime.

HWT - very nice and flavorful, deep color, but for $40 I prefer Old Ghost

Dark fruit. A bit tannic. Probably better I in 5-10 years.

Well this one surprised me. Really nice bottle. Balanced. Although I’ve been enjoying bruschetta and parm...May throw off my gage of acidity
