Mid yellow in colour. Musky notes with a little talc - white and yellow flowers. On the palate lovely ripe peach flavours. Incredible flavour intensity. Irresistible. Low acid. Definitely one of Australia’s best dry Rieslings. No notes of TDN. Have the last one in a year or two. See previous Delectable note 6 years ago in June 2018 when it was carrying more citric acid.

Light yellow in colour. Paraffin notes with Toast and Honey on the nose. Good refreshing citric acid (lime and lemon) - still very youthful at 12 years of age. On the palate, purity and power with amazing flavour persistence. Regarded as one of Australia’s Premium Rieslings with good reason.

Vintage 2000 | butterscotch and minerals in smell, very balanced taste with frivolous acidity. Good effort.

Saturday lunch with friends. Aromas of white flowers and bath talcum powder. Amazingly youthful for a 9 year old Riesling - a long future ahead of at least another 10 to 15 years. Vibrant acidity will nurture this going forward. Considered by many to be Australia’s premium Riesling. A class act which will no doubt put on weight in the coming 10 years. Had another bottle 42 weeks later on 17th April 2022 with consistent notes. Very contained and youthful. Not a hint of kerosene. Leave the remaining 2? bottles for a couple of years at least.

Light pale lemon in colour. Bath talc and lime aromas, white flowers. Not a hint of Kero. Clean as a whistle on the palate with lime and lively citric acidity. A textural chalky mineral note. Still with a long future. Many good judges feel that this is Australia’s premium Riesling. If it’s not the best, it’s certainly in the conversation. From the Clare Valley SA.

Fill er’ up! Lots of diesely, limey, citrusy and gunflinty character. Steely acidity and a long marmalade finish. Beautiful now or over the next 5 years.

Still enjoyable; acid entirely resolved and settled. Kero, toast, honey, lime syrup and still some slatey minerality.

Still hanging in there. Developed and complex with secondary notes, with honeyed stone fruits, hints of caramel, smokey minerality and a dry, satisfying finish. Somewhat clipped. Despite its age, the petroleum notes are surprisingly shy, which is positive. Last bottle of 12 bought on release, and it has been great following it evolve over 15+ years.
