Grgich Hills Estate
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

If anyone knows Zinfandel it's Mike Grgich. A pretty b straight down the middle interpretation. Not flashy, just solid.

Tasting notes from the Fort Worth Food & Wine Festival...
Dark cherry, maybe a slight cocoa finish. Pleasant and a treat to enjoy.

Decanted for an hour. Maybe needed a little longer. A little flat on the finish.

We had the 2012 Vintage on 9/18-19/20. This is a well balanced, fruit forward, full bodied, Napa floor Cab. Tastes of blackberry, plum, black cherry. The tannins were smoothed out. A pretty good wine for the price. There are just so many other choices.

Interesting nose - restrained and more feminine with some floral notes. Ripe dark black fruit, some herbal and capsicum notes. Bright acidity lifts the wine and adds freshness.
