This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley.

Full bodied and smooth with a long finish.

Dry and fruity on the palate with medium acidity and long legs.

Showing black fruits with tobacco, chocolates, coffee, peppercorn, cedar, vanilla and spices.

Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Fruit forward, elegant and rich.

Showing nice complexity with a smooth mouthfeel. Spicy and interesting.

Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.

I had this vintage a couple of years ago. Still young, but already delicious. Will continue to age nicely in the next 5 to 7 years.

I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and fresh vegetables.

A blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc. Aged for 22 months in (60% new) French Oak barrels. A tiny production of only 1,600 bottles produced.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

93 points.

It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious Cabernet from Napa Valley.

Dark pink in color with a nice reddish/ brick rim.

Pretty nose with blackberries, blueberries, spices, vanilla, licorice, pencil lead, coffee, tobacco, mocha, cinnamon and black pepper.

Full-bodied, bold and smooth, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, oak, vanilla, licorice, cola, spices, tobacco, chocolates and peppercorn.

Long tangy finish with soft tannins and cherries.

This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford in Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity with a great mouthfeel. Nicely balanced and fruit forward.

Good right out of the bottle and better after 60 Minutes of airtime. After 2 hours, it is yummy and complex.

Still young, but already very enjoyable by itself or with food.
Would love to try this in 3 to 5 years, and see how it progresses. Already showing lots of potential.

For a Napa Cabernet, this is gentle and elegant. Not in your face kind of wine, but rather subdued and elegant. Tasty and delicious.

It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Here is a nice one from Napa Valley.

Dark ruby in color with a short reddish rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, blueberries, sweet cherries, raisins, vegetables, bell pepper, vanilla, cedar, spices, dust, earth, leather, tobacco, chocolates, mocha, coffee and black pepper.

Full-bodied and soft, with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries wood, cherries, blueberries, plums, vanilla, vegetables, tobacco, leather, peppercorn, espresso, dark chocolates, graphite and earth.

Long finish with soft tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a great Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa Valley. Showing nice complexity, soft, smooth and a little spicy with a tangy finish. Showing earthier nose than the palate.

Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up (One hour).

Still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature and remove much of the vegetable notes. However, it is already drinkable, and very delicate, elegant and delicious. Will probably be 93+ points in 5 years.

I paired it with cheeses and light appetizers.

Aged for 24 months in 60% French Oak barrels. A blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petit Verdot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Merlot.

14.6% alcohol by volume.

Medium to deep ruby red. A bit woody on the nose with raspberries and sweet spices. A touch of mint on the palate and darker than the Oakville. Medium tannins (6.5/10) and nicely integrated. Notes of plums and sweet spices. Medium plus body and long finish. Drink till 2028.
