Very fine mousse. Aromas of a partial #barrelfermented base wine and lees, vanilla, cream and pastries. On the palate it has surprising citrus and stone fruit and a touch of elderflower. #southafricanwine#capeclassics

Delicate buiscity notes rounded by hazelnut. Golden apple and a squeeze of lemon. Doughy on the finish from long lees ageing. A creamy mousse with balanced fresh acidity. A hining star in the south for sure

Off-the-wall Blanc de Blancs face off. South Africa vs New Mexico. Graham Beck's 2011 Premier Cuvée comes from the best blocks in Robertson with half being fermented in barrel. Baked Granny Smith's, toasted almond, and a yeast component that resembles something from the origin of the méthode. Excellent finish that has depth and complexity, while still being bone dry.
