Sorbet and key lime, peaches and cream.
Served at Nelson Mandela’s inauguration.
Excellent Champagne alternative. Sustainably farmed (as required by South Africa)

Had this about 3 years ago. Graham Beck entering its third generation as a family winery, established in 1983 when entrepreneur Graham Beck purchased Madeba farm outside the Western Cape town of Robertson. About a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aromas of tropical fruits and biscuit notes, vivid crisp acidity on medium+ finish ending with yeasty notes. Nice value.

A little bit simple, and ripe, but delicious!

Outstanding traditional method sparkler out of South Africa. Just the right amount of bready with pear and citrus. Not as acidic as Champagne, but beautifully balanced.

A perfectly decent bottle of bubbly.
On the fruitier side with yellow stone fruit and more in the happy, jolly character vs. austere & serious but overall very enjoyable.

Good for the price. Not overly inspiring but it hits the spot.
