Not what I expected though not altogether bad... A lot of blood orange and herbaceous ness. Definitely hot, and not easy with typical Pinot Noir cuisine.

A great example of a wine that I’m glad was a gift. And why I don’t buy CA wines that often. I can’t imagine spending $100+ on this. But even at a lower price point, the wine would just be so so. Nothing memorable. Maybe it was past its prime.
