This is a very dark wine, almost no light gets through a glassful of it. On the nose there is a complex set of aromas. Dark fruit - blackberry, cassis, blueberry - are met with savory support from the oak. Clove, baseball glove, tobacco, earth and black pepper all play a role in the sniff. The palate is a real discovery - as dark as you like it, with firm tannins and a long finish. In California terms, the shadings are a little more like Paso than Napa - a bit rambunctious and chalky as opposed to silky and demure. In fact, the wine could have convinced me that it was a Syrah, not a Cab, had I been blind tasting it. It’s a wonderful wine that screams for a big, beautiful steak to go with it.

No makeup pretty wine. The beverage is purple as it’s label and also tastes purple-y if I may say so. There was surely some oak at play, something cocoa-y and a touch blackberry jammy. It’s a wine I’d take to a Cure concert. I don’t mean to drink. Just personality wise I feel like it would listen to the Cure. If only wine could dance.

Black cherries, blackberries, baseball glove, dried herbs on the nose, all of which comes through in the mouth with the addition of tons of milk chocolate and crushed rock. Most chocolate-y wine I’ve had in ages. Medium bodied with good acidity and an easy tannin structure. Really very good.

Packed with notes of bing cherry and mocha. I'd take this over just about any California Cab in its price category. An awesome value!

Loved this one. Great for a rainy cold day. Paired with mujadara and Jerusalem mix chicken. Big wine with blackberry, dark cherry and blueberry. Oaky tannins keep it from being too sweet. Would buy this again in a heartbeat!!

This wine still had time to mature, maybe 2 years more. Some cassis and plum but still closed some oak in the finish.

Better than Cali Cab at this price point. I’ve been enjoying Israeli wine. 🇮🇱
