Blend of pinot noir and chardonnay, aromas of stone fruit with citrus and biscuit notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus zest, earthy yeasty spice and tiny bubbles. The wine is well balanced, good acidity, some yeast and minerality on the long finish.

Had this about a ago, tried a new batch. First released in 1985. A blend of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay, this Méthode Champenoise wine shows aromas of stone and citrus fruit with slight toasty biscuit notes. On the palate flavors of crisp Apple, pear and citrus zest, lively acidity, fine mousse and good bubble flow. Medium finish ending with fruit and yeasty mineral notes. Nice CA bubbly.

My least favorite of the line up. Powerful carbonation kills any nuance. Clear, driving and angular palate but not bad.

Bright, crisp yet round. Aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and toasted brioche lead into a palate that balances fresh citrus and ripe pear with a fine. The minerality provides an elegant backbone, while the acidity keeps everything fresh. A hint of almond and a touch of sea breeze linger on the long, clean finish, offering a wine of precision and approachability.

Pale gold. Delicate, sweet smell, honey and pear. Pear and citrus taste...and maybe honeysuckle. Very light and crisp. I tried this at Gloria Ferrer a few years ago and it's still just a lovely as it was then.
