This is an absolutely beautiful wine but strangely disappointing if the 2007 is your reference wine. Apricot, Peach, Honey with very good acidity. Needs more time.

Absolute master piece. Incredible balance between acidity and sweetness. Layers and layers of tropical fruit, extremely complex. Is there anything that quintarelli does that is not excellent ? Best of all got a 10 pct discount on the already great price because nobody drinks “sweet” wines.

Stunning. More formal notes tomorrow.

This wine is amazing

1990. Wow. Il etait impressionnant.

Given its history, its story, and its rarity, I wanted to LOVE this, but as lovely and delicious as it is, it doesn’t measure up to the best Sauternes. Don’t get me wrong — I would drink it all day long, just not on my dime.

Clearly a modern master. This dessert wine was amazing with great depth and fruit. Burnt Carmel dominates this 25 year old baby.
