I wasnt too familiar with this producer, but it has aged gracefully….tannin present but softened, dried red fruit, spicy, leather, dried leaves, black tea…mainly earth driven but fruit still present. Paired with good ole pizza by a fire…

Interesting older Barbaresco - has peaked and on it's way down. Beautiful, tight, savory nose - benefits from decanting - rosemary, lamb, white peppercorn. A bit thin and tart on palate, but still some nice dried cherry and thyme.
