Rich red in color with medium plus intensity.

Fruit forward on the nose with red fruits and light oak.

Medium bodied with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing red cherries, raspberries, herbs, coffee, light oak, chocolates and peppercorn.

Nice finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 7 year old Barolo is already drinking very nicely, but still young and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.

Spicy and entertaining. Easy drinking and engaging. Elegant with good structure.

Nicely balanced and will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

100% Nebbiolo grapes were aged in large oak barrels for 3 years.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Introverted, shy, charred, and definitely in need of patience to see its charming side.

I really like the delicate mouthfeel of this Bussia. Definitely in the lighter side, so appealing to my burgundy predilection. Not to say there aren’t some serious flavors here. A touch of menthol and wilted rose. Elegant and easy.

This is decidedly a midweight barolo form an cooler year. Nose is shy displaying red berries, some faint smoke and mineral sensations. On palate it has plenty of acidity, fine if bit dry tannins and plenty of tart cherry, red currant and some licorice. After 6h it picks up bit of the much needed midpalate depth and rounder fruit. Not sure if the fruit will outlive the time needed to soften the acidity and tannins. For those in favor of uptoned Nebbiolo with firm structure

This is value priced...and it’s interesting. First day sipping is crunchy and complex, barely hinting at a Barolo. Wasn’t tight with tannins. Second day was much better. Maybe it will age gracefully; I have a few bottles I’m going to hide away for a few more years
