Heavily maderized with acid still kicking. Wasn't sitting well but you got to roll the dice sometimes.

Absolutely spectacular. This wine was humming right out of the gate. Black cherry, pine, violets, amaro. Can age more, but the vibrancy now is compelling.

'07 vintage. Knockout aromatics. Chunky and chewy, bit of time in the decanter and the haunting perfume raises its beautiful head. Brilliant structure. Classically trained.
