This wine reminds me of this girl I once knew. In another life time, long ago.
Mariolina gave me my first shake job. Me and Vincent Maniscalco in the alley behind the chicken market.
Ahhh. Funny how taste and memories are tied together, huh?

Gerard Bertrand was born and raised in the South of France, making wine with his father, Georges, since the age of 10. Went to a private Rosé tasting and sampled over 20 Rosé wines, this one was interesting. Pale pink with a “grey” tint!! Berry aromas with a touch of fresh floral. Mostly Grenache, the palate shows cherry and a light citrus flavor, generous acidity, medium finish ending with a mineral tang. Need to enjoy this with spicy foods. Tasting Sample.

End of summer bbq wine. Easy drinking and fresh.

It may be Labor Day in short order, but “summer” is only half over in Houston, TX. Thus, plenty more rosés to examine before winter envelopes us. This is par for the course for French rosé; dry and tart with just the right amount of oak. A Whispering Angel for all the non-celebs out there.

Fine Rose but nothing outstanding. Good wine for a huge group.
