First Wine of the Harvest Beaujolais Nouveau Gamay

Hanging in there! Pretty carbonic fruit, wild berry (a little muted with the age), stemmy, soft tannins and bright acid. Backup bottle for our salmon. 😁

Darker than expected. Intense spicy carbonique fruit. Some mercaptans.

Nice and fruity as always, on the palate and nose. No cooking tonight!

Green bananas and grape jelly. Hard to appreciate, even for what it is. The 2018 Domaine Ruet Beaujolais Villages Nouveau was markedly better.

Ugliest label ever winner.
