Big and ripe almost new world-y in terms of alcohol and extraction but had some nice spice character, energy, and depth. Was expecting something a bit leaner, this wine needed some richer meatier dishes than what we had in front of us.

Brilliant wine from Gambero Rosso 2015 wine maker of the year. Super bright cranberry, bing cherry, ripe plum. Nice mineral structure, subtle tannins. One of my favorites for Aug!

Luscious, smooth and with plenty of character. A generous structure typical of the grape, native of Sardinia. One of the nicest expression of this varietal. Great quality for money!
