All flint and lime zest on the nose. With air this gained an earthy depth with crushed english ivy and floral violet notes. Very complex and wouls be a great wine to experiment with food pairing. I had to double check it was not Gruner Veltliner. 😁

Super reductive. Pretty straightforward on the nose, but a bit too much petrol/plastic on the palate.

Such a beaut! Lemon pith, green apple, kiwi, honeysuckle, white lilies. So supple but so bright!

Pichler wines need at least 5-6 years to show their stuff like this wine was, and it seems to have many years ahead. The fruit was broad and exotic with taut acidity...almost pineapple-y, but there's powerful mineral presence, fresh herbs and flowers in spades.

Lemon pith, green apple, pulverized gravel. Delineated opening and rounded out after a couple hours. A bit primary and lacking depth at this stage.

2013 vintage. Ripe but delicate, beautifully delineated, long and lovely to drink.

Hints of petrol, lime, green apple, pear, white flowers. The background with a pronounced mineral note.
For the most part a pure wine
