Beautiful nose. Haunting. Ethereal. Wonderful acidity on an incredibly rich palate. Opulent and fat but cleans out with nice acids on the finish. Never stops being opulent. Classic 05 Spatlese, in that it really drinks like and Auslese. Still delicious.

Lovely, fresh and young for a 2003. Acidity level shows the vintage (lower acid) but balance nice if a bit clipped on finish. Saved this for 10 years. Bought direct from winery in Germany.
