This is the 2018 Freemark Abbey Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is from Oakville, California a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 2% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot.
On the nose there is black cherry, blackberry, herbal notes, black currant, baking spice, chocolate, pencil shavings, green bell pepper and dark earth.
On the palate is black cherry, blackberry, plum, black currant, violet, green bell pepper, mocha, black pepper, pencil shavings, and earth.
This is medium to full bodied with a smooth plush mouthfeel medium+ to high acidity and medium+ fine grippy tannins that seamlessly moves to a long red & black fruit pencil lead finish.
