Decanted and tasted over 24 hours. The wine remained so tightly wound for the whole period, however, it's precision faded the last 2 hours. Tasting it every 1-2 hours, the wine's structure took on many personalities but the fruit always stayed with a sweet red and blue fruit quality. By the 23rd hour the fruit began to fade. This wine needs some bottle aging. #barolo #cannubi

Only for those hunting classic Barolo...Volatile aspect but if you can manage to get through it, it reveals a bitting acidity, sour cherries, tight and abundant tannins and bags of spices on the finish. Great value for money and miles away to be fully mature. Just happy to have one case in storage...9.5 for today but will get near to 10 tomorrow.
