Cannubi Barolo Nebbiolo

Revisit in 5 years.

Alcohol licorice on the nose, need time to breathe, black cherry, raisin, cooked onion, clove, earthy and mineral, super dry, med plus tannin. Too young to open. A food wine.

A 3 hour decant with a large surface area and then decanting back into the bottle is the best way I have found to drink this wine. Still needs about 5 years of cellaring though. #cannubi #barolo

Warm and rounded compared with the younger vintages. Oak and fruit gain on the palate until tannin take hold. This maybe the best if the three, but it also needs some time

Too ripe for my taste

Still grippy, hints of anise, jammy bouquet and nice mid pallet red fruits.

The 2010 Cannubi is like a clenched fist, crazy tight but with decanting relented some. Wait another 3 years easy on this one, 5+ is ideal. #barolo #cannubi

Full of youth, bitter chocolate and under ripe red berries, I can't wait to see how this evolves

Herbal. Hints of earth and black licorice. Really digging this wine.

This Cannubi is very good. Compared to the Barbaresco we drank next to it power is the word. More prominent tannins but in a great spot for the moment.
