Mar 8th, 2020This was holding up nicely for the age, but I wouldn’t keep it any longer. Nice concentration with quite a bit of oak. Lots of vanilla and baking spice on the palate. Food friendly acidity.

May 18th, 2019I really, really enjoyed the wines from Franz Haas. They were so pure and simple but had so much complexity at the same time.

Sep 21st, 2018Well, it was a screw-cap and wasn't expensive. But then it was an Italian Pinot Noir that was 6 years old so I suppose I was hoping for better; it was a little too acidic and had lots of spice to it. Wasn't bad but wouldn't buy again.

Slight warm finish. All in all, a fresh & delicate Pinot Nero from the Alto Adige region. I would say, probably the best Italian Pinot Nero out there. Cheers to all!🍷🍷
