Frank Family Vineyards
Carneros Blanc de Blanc Champagne Blend
A great CA sparkler. Pale lemon with aromas of stone fruits, citrus and biscuit notes. On the palate apples and lemon juice with toasty nutty notes and bread dough. Long finish ending with mineral and yeasty character. Very nice. Limited quantities! Had this twice, bought a few bottles, ages well.

Jan 25th, 2020The prep for my Napa trip continues as Classic hosted Hertelendy Winery tonight. Extremely small production with PTitus as the consulting winemaker. Vineyards located just below the Howell Mtn designation.
An outlier to get the evening started, but bubbles are always welcomed. Very nice mouthfeel and minuscule bubbles. They faded quickly, though. Didn’t get a lot of yeast out of this. Fruit and tart dominant. Granny Smith Apple, kiwi, and pear.

Perfect bottle of domestic bubbly to start of our Thanksgiving festivities. Bright pale yellow with moderate liveliness. Notes of yeast, lemon meyer, and some granny smith apples on the nose. High acidity (7/10) but balanced with tons of citrus notes as well as tree fruits, especially green apples. A nice biscuity undertone as well. Light plus to medium bodied with a pinch of stones in the long finish. Lovely bottle and would love to try more wines from Frank Family! Drink till 2023. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!!
