Funkadelic - if you like other than fruit seems like little Brett and maybe VA this is on the edge for me but that being said the Pinot Noir and Poulsard (75&25 respectively)

The Brett was pretty explosive might be past my threshold but the pinot noir character does peak through and a little bit of VA - could see this being controversial

Agricultural on the nose, serious mechanical muck-spreading. But jeez, delicate little explosive juice bubbles of dark fruits and happiness afterwards, really fucking nice.

Really wanted to like this. Didn't really like this. Seems like it had brett so they sulfured it and filtered it, the brett is still there but not blooming, the VA is more than I tend to appreciate, and I have a fairly high tolerance for VA. This particular bottle was insipid for a 2015 vintage, and it seemed to be stripped of any of the qualities of Pinot and Ploussard from the Jura. Hope it was just an off bottle. I'll check back.

VA city - blew off a bit and end of bottle was enjoyable, but so used to Jura to slap me in the face with nuanced funk on first sip, this just missed the mark

Intense aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries. Salivating acidity on the palate, but it reflects the hot year with a little jammy fruit and higher alcohol. Still good, but better in cooler vintages.
