François Rousset-Martin
Cuvée PP André Côtes du Jura Pinot Noir-Poulsard Blend
Interesting. I'm. It always a fan of Pinot from Jura but 25% pulsard makes it work nicely. Not as great day two but still a lovely wine

Jun 28th, 2018This wine is so hard for me to rate - it’s such a personal call really - lotta other than fruit certainly some Brett earthy leather cherry fruit - 2015 vintage

May 2nd, 2018Agricultural on the nose, serious mechanical muck-spreading. But jeez, delicate little explosive juice bubbles of dark fruits and happiness afterwards, really fucking nice.

2 people found it helpfulDec 21st, 2015Really wanted to like this. Didn't really like this. Seems like it had brett so they sulfured it and filtered it, the brett is still there but not blooming, the VA is more than I tend to appreciate, and I have a fairly high tolerance for VA. This particular bottle was insipid for a 2015 vintage, and it seemed to be stripped of any of the qualities of Pinot and Ploussard from the Jura. Hope it was just an off bottle. I'll check back.

Jul 5th, 2017The warm vintage resulted in a way heavier PP André than other years.

Jan 11th, 2024VA city - blew off a bit and end of bottle was enjoyable, but so used to Jura to slap me in the face with nuanced funk on first sip, this just missed the mark

Intense aromas of fresh raspberries and cherries. Salivating acidity on the palate, but it reflects the hot year with a little jammy fruit and higher alcohol. Still good, but better in cooler vintages.

Mar 10th, 2020This might not be the biggest wine, nor was it intended to be. But it just really does it for me, I can't get enough of its lively aromas of bright red berries and fresh green and red fruit. It has a good amount of gas upon opening, but this is quickly aired out. It has an untamed energy, yet still clean. Stable for the hour or so it took to finish it. I love it and need to find more bottles!
