Never had a Pinot Gris with this much skin contact. Sweet-salty watermelon and white flowers on the nose. Those same flavors carry on the palate, with the addition of some mushroom, oyster shells, a hefty dose of funk, tart acidity, and a briny finish which leaves you wanting more. This needs food. Paired well with scallop crudo, heirloom caprese, and burrata. Thanks as always to @Bob Miller for a fun recommendation.

This intriguing cloudy garnet wine is brisk with mixed berries and wildflowers doused with brine and white tea. The palate is charmingly rustic, throwing bitter melon, fruit leather, talc, and surprising grip into the equation. Don't call it rosé!

Vinified as a light, chillable red. 28 day maceration. Hibiscus, tea leaf, jasmine, toasted hazelnuts. Not tannic and drying, the way many skin contact PGs can be. Shockingly good! #oregon #skincontact #pinotgris
