Albariño that makes you stop, sit up, take a breath and pay attention. How often does that happen? Citrus, tropical, funky, saline and amazing texture, presence and persistence in the mouth. Damn, that's good.

Nice viscosity and body. Lovely core chalk minerality. Nice nose. Moderately short finish. Nice food wine. Not complex but enjoyable nevertheless.

A white wine that scored 97RP for 30€? Does it deliver? Yes! A shy nose and a crystal clear palate of citrus fruit, salt and bitters. It has enough texture/body but it is not an overly big wine like some heavy oaked chardonnay can be. It is just so well balanced and the acidic/bitter component makes you want to take a sip again and again. Stocking this up as my go to summer slurper.

Edit: with time this fleshes out gaining in viscosity and complexity, so up one point
