Ooh-La-la another stellar white. Maybe the greatest natural white wine I have ever tasted. Complex and strikingly original lemon-zest, smoke and dried-chamomile aromas pour from the glass. Then comes the concentrated but very refined palate,followed by a super-long finish that’s a cascading waterfall of wet-stone minerality. Just doesn’t want to stop! I felt this wine was confused and confusing. As a result, I left it until day 3 hoping for better things. It did improve presenting salinity, Meyer lemons and low acidity. Medium weight on the mid-palate, finishing bone dry. In this case, my criticism is a compliment. Lay this down for a while.

Herbs, minerals, saline, superb

A great wine, structurally perfect, all the boxes ticked. Just missing the liveliness that you’d see if sulphur hadn’t been added. If you know, you know.

Just fantastic northern Italian white, hybrid of Pinot Bianco and Riesling, with the anticipated broad spectrum flavor profile and structure that you’d expect. Just delightful!
