Barolo Nebbiolo

Very pretty. Sweet strawberry, raspberry. Roses and a hint of pine needles. Really gorgeous, long and pretty. A great bottle.

Light tawny color. Good nose with tied cherry, soft roses, limpid dried orange notes and dark wood. Decent fruit- still quite fresh with a slightly drying finish. A good bottle.

So it's 45 year old Barolo. A titch sweet.

Light translucent brick red. Violets and rose petals in nose. Black fruit too. Nice and refined in mouth. Still has an edge in the finish.

Really good, curiously maybe didn't last as long as I would have wanted to

Wow. Crazy bouquet. Old fire smoke, coffin, rotten moldy fruit loops in the forest. Long on the palate.

Amazingly youthful 71...sick savory depth wrapped in dried cherries, with aged fine tobacco leaf.. Outstanding Thank you Sian

Fontanafredda means "cold fountain"--no way--this was stinky butthole in the best possible way! @QuinceSF

This bottle is nearing the end. Opened up after about an hour in the decanter. Tar, dry roses, leather and game. Still had enough acidity and tannin left.
