2019 vintage. Another great wine by Antonio Maçanita. 100% unoaked (hence the name "Touriga goes naked") Touriga Nacional from Alentejo. Intensely perfumed, very floral (violets), intertwined with blackberries and black pepper. Juicy blackberries and spices in the mouth with a nice peppery length with retronasal violets. Original and amazing value at 12,50 euro.

Juicy and floral. Kinda Beaujolais like.

Fruit forward, explodes on the palate with berries and plum. Just a little overripe and short for me.

Fruit driven unpacked red with good structure and moderate but noticeable acidity. Notes of cherry and dark very pie with a hint of floral notes. Subtle, but lingering finish. Great, light, easy drinking wine with enough substance to be interesting.

Very aromatic, thin

Bursting with cooked blueberries, subtleties of dark red plum and violet flower, hints of red and green peppercorn, some mint and pepper on the palate; very smooth, medium tannin; $24 from BGarden. Yum!

Unoaked, no aging; fresh, fruity, bright. Beaujolais- like. Not a difficult drink.
