Incredibly fresh on the palate. Leather, mature red and blue fruits. Tart sour red fruit candy.

Med + acid, medium + tannin, long finish of mushrooms, red fruits and decomposing/organic oak bark. This is so good.

Tasted the 2009 with Eladio and then he gave us this bottle which I didn't realize was a 2006 until the next day.

Rowan Vinho Regional Alentejano 2014

Dark purplish ruby red. Austere nose with some purple flowers, baking spices, cinnamon and dark bramble berries. Medium tannins (6/10) and medium plus bodied. Layered on the palate with a dark black cherries, savory herbs and some spiciness. Dry long and lingering finish. Drink till 2027.

Made up of 41% Tinta Roriz, 38% Touriga Nacional, and 21% Alicante Bouschet. Aged in French oak for 16 months. Only 200 cases produced.
