Freddo is meant to be served chilled, the label lettering turns from white to blue once the right serving temperature is reached. It’s a playful, dry, light bodied Sangiovese with a nose of cherry, roasted tomato, and dried flowers. The palate is bold with substantial tannins and more cherry, plum, and red currant. A super fun summer red.

no hidden agenda with this one — it tasted exactly like you’d expect chilled red wine would. as my husband said “nothing offensive, just is” — not sure i’m dying to buy again!

A summer classic, like a lighter Lambrusco. 2023 vintage is 76% Sangiovese and 24% Valdiguié
