Bright red and black currants swim in a cedary, mint-misted, vanilla and caramel with rum-soaked, golden raisin. Balanced acidity inside a dense framework of licorice, black currant and blackberry (likely due to the additional spritz from cab franc?) with a soft black olive note persisting throughout. 100% Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon. Very complex. Dark ruby color with a garnet rim. Aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum, black currant, baking spices and dark chocolate. Nice hint of toasted oak on the long and lingering finish. Totally New World in style. Smooth tannins and excellent mouthfeel. Full bodied and juicy. Tannins have relaxed with bottle age. Quite expressive. High quality.

Medium tannins, full bodied, balanced Cabernet .Nutty , earthy paired with a prime rib.

Vanilla, caramel, and cocoa. Very smooth and easy drinking.

Chalky on back end. In volcanic ash.
