Zippy and juicy. Bit of spice at end.

Loads of tangy, plummy, cherryish fruit, along with pulverized rock dust and a purple floral component. The fruit has a tangy plummy character, with great acids. Really flexible with food.

We were invited over to a house warming gathering for some friends and they graciously provided some Neapolitan pizzas. We brought three bottles of Ferrando Canavese. This stuff is just so delicious; so easy to enjoy and outrageous quality for the money. Tough to find so swoop it up when you see it.

My new ‘ house ‘ red- mountain Nebbiolo w some Negrette(I think), a fave Carema producer- under 17$ & beautifully balanced, tart ( but check as it evolves in glass)

Such pretty fruit. Sturdy but approachable tannins, strong floral character and just a dusting of truffles.

This was a really vibrant expression of Nebbiolo. First wine from Canavese and first from Ferrando. Good stuff and pretty awesome value for $20. Awesome wine with food.

Hits all the right spots: overall savory & mountain herbs, if i knew what those were; relatively low alc%; my fantasy weekday wine though @17$. Beautifully balanced. Great producer of higher end Carema.
