Smooth and satisfying.

Deep Ruby color with warm red rim. The aroma of ripe cherries, balsamic, vegetable roots, woody. Dry, well-balanced tannins, light acidity, bitterness. Went well with fried chicken, filet mignon.

Black cherries, figs, graphite, cigar box, dried thyme, dried oregano, black pepper, sun dried tomato, iron. Sharp focused acid/wide rough velvet tannin balance, medium-full bodied, juicy texture, long herbal-smoky finish. Textbook Chianti, standout herbal character generous to most tomato based Italian food pairings. From a magnum.
