Gorgeous pale purple color, magenta on the edges. Gamay jumps right out with red fruit, pomegranate dominating, and bright ripe red cherry. There’s a bit of black pepper too. Tastes quite fruity, some earthy qualities. Good medium tannins but low acidity. Medium finish.

Jan 21st, 2022Gamay Pinot Noir blend. Montmorencey cherries, elegant. 12%. Oregon Bojo. Very good. This just showed up on my doorstep today- props to Evening Land for just sending this to me with a nice note after I missed my library tasting reservation on Xmas Eve due to a blizzard. That’s a solid 🤜🏻

Jan 7th, 2022This wine is fantastic, particularly for the price point and youthful vintage. The Gamay really adds a nice acidity and Rainier cherry fruit character. Reminds me of a Morgon but with more body and fruit. Still, has lovely earthiness with hints of menthol, vanilla, butterscotch, and pine.
I think those rating it lower are expecting an Oregon Pinot Noir, not what this is, which is more of an Oregon Beaujolais.
