All cylinders firing on this 19 year old stunner. Kicked into high gear after an hour open. Quite the amalgamation of sturdy tannin, refreshing acidity, and ripe Nebbiolo. Don’t know about the vintage, but based on the fruit I would imagine it was a hot year. Pristine, high energy, sun drenched red fruits with a backbone of soft spice and fennel. There’s a lot of juice left in this juice.

Good pop and pour. Nose is floral with red/black fruit. Mouth has a little tannin mid palate until it has some air. Smooth finish. Tastes like a ripe vintage that was made well. SS

Very smooth! The tannins and acid is there but sooo smooth and drinkable now. Aromas and flavors of wet earth, and mushrooms after the rain on a hot summer day. Also dried roses. Very nice. Quality to age even more but super to drink now as well!

Approachable on opening with floral nose. Dense dark fruit, tar, mineral, and pronounced spice on the palate. Juicy acidity and also intense tannins throughout a long lingering finish. Best on day 2 for this young Barolo - not for the timid.
