Brumaire Russian River Valley Chardonnay

A first experience of the Chard following the Pinot. A nice balance of stone fruit and effervescent kettle corn like flavor. Not over the top malolactic, but enough to provide creamy texture.

Th baby sister from the Far Niente “farm system” and it’s a delight.

I really liked this. No Malo likely the reason why. A proper chard in my book!

Enroute by Far Niente. Tangerine and vanilla, medium acid. Not too oaky

Apple, peach, apricot. Heavy mineral, big citrus. Complex body and subtle finish. Drinks a lot like a Chablis.

Very light and a little sweet in the end. It much oak. Good for a hot day and interesting but not typical.

Very good! Light and oaky at the same time. Got deeper and more rich the longer it was open. Would stock up. Drinks more refreshing (although a bit less interesting than Lynmar and others we love)

Brilliant chardonnay. Bright, bold fruit but balanced, just a hint of minerality

Perfect on the back porch on a sunny day. Easy drinking. You can taste the oak but still crisp and fruit forward. We hadn’t had the chance to try the En Route Chard until now (we are big fans of the En Route Pinot Noir) but definitely impressed. @Carl Fischer found this for a great deal in our favorite Paoli PA wine store!

This is what most other Cardonnays, especially those from California, should strive to be. Extremely smooth. Acidity isn't aggressive. It's well-balanced with a touch of oak that complements it very well.
