So...I had a birthday a couple weeks back.and due to scheduling, my regular bottle finishing team wasn't available until now, so we're finally doing it up in my grand, unique style.
Notes possibly tomorrow, scores honestly tonight.
Decanted 6H.
24-Hour Update:
Nose has crushed bricks, blood orange, ripe cherries, cranberry sauce and wet vines.
Palate has dried cranberry (unsweetened), chalk, orange zest, black currant and dried blackberry.
Seems a little shutdown, revisit 2023+.

Superb as always. Nose of spice, bright cherries, juicy and deep with amazing rich liaison like fruit and such incredible depth. So wonderful and clean. Fresh but not hugely acidic. Just perfect. So juicy. Balanced and refined. Long and so pure. Just one of the best roses in the world.

Nose has crushed raspberry, ripe red & black currants, sour cherry, sliced blood orange flesh & peel and faint green herbs.
Palate has tart cherry, ripe raspberry, plum skin, orange peel and green apple-like acidity.
Amazingly young, this is the most accessible, E&M Rosé, I've ever tasted. Most prior years, this bottle needs 24 hours of air and then it might show you its prowess, sometimes it may hold out for another day. Just fantastic, I can't wait to see how this one ages and experience new developments.

A unicorn 🦄. The 2017 E&M’s Pinot’s where hard to try when young - all of them. And very hard to read. I thought the year was in question. Well this is changing this Rose is incredible now 3 years in the bottle. Bubblegum, herbs, earth and dirt on the nose. Fantastic fruit - strawberry guavas? Hint strawberry, lime, nice acidity. Lots of body. Begs for a Salmon dish which would go so well with the color. Drink now. Addictive.

Feb 12th, 2021Best Rose in the 🌎. I was skeptical about the 17 but that has changed it is awesome 😎 now !!!!!!!!! Wow. Herbal. Oranges. More when I try another bottle.

Jun 7th, 2020Excellent. Drink slightly cool do not chill! Too bad this is not widely available - from Lyle Fass. Taste like a red Burgundy. Super earthy savory herbaceous. Orange zest. Thyme on the nose. Hard to describe character but classic E&M this is the best Rose Money can buy right now.
