Name ‘Elk Cove’ derived from Roosevelt Elk which roamed nearby. 1st 100% estate grown fruit, whole-cluster pressed, cool temp fermented in small stainless tanks preserving aromatic freshness of stone fruits and gentle spiciness. On the palate peach, pear and honey flavors with a touch of sweetness. Medium finish, vivid acidity with rich ending. Drinking well now but cellar a bit. Nice value.

Voluptuous & Alsatian in style, this vintage is silky & sexy w/generous sweet ripe citrus aromas - ft. lemon chiffon, Bosc pear, jasmine & honeysuckle, apple and a slender slice of stone. Integrated acidity and seamless this was fun w/Vietnamese vermicelli.
