Pale lemon color with aromas of stone, tropical and citrus fruits with yeasty notes. On the palate flavors of ripe apples, apricot, citrus and slight spicy character. Lively acidity, medium finish ending with fruit character with mineral tones.

So damn good for the money. Green apples, limestone, light acidity. This 2017 is spot on!

One of OR oldest wine producers, founded by Pat & Joe Campbell in 1974. Name ‘Elk Cove’ derived from Roosevelt Elk which roamed nearby. 1st 100% estate grown fruit, whole-cluster pressed, cool temp fermented in small stainless tanks preserving aromatic freshness of stone fruits and gentle spiciness. On the palate peach, pear and honey flavors with a touch of sweetness. Medium finish, vivid acidity with rich ending. Drinking well now but cellar a bit. Nice value.

Gift from a vendor. Didn’t like but not surprised given the varietal. Too sweet.

simple... nothing too special. balanced snd without anything to make you stop for a minute and think.
more on the grigio side than the gris side.
quaffable. it is what it is.

paired well with homemade 🍕

Great value. Pear, white peach, honey, floral notes. Nice acidity, with medium mouthfeel with slate mineral notes. Paired well with roasted chicken and vegetables, and an apple/arugula salad.
