Sep 26th, 2021This was a delicious fastball right down the middle of the plate, as far as Barolo goes…and when considering that we’re working with the 2014 vintage, this was especially noteworthy. Dark cherry, alpine herbs, tar, minerals, and black licorice were predominate. A long, lip smacking finish. Again, worked really well with the bison tartar and duck frites.

Apr 13th, 2021Acquired from Grasso, this actually contains some of the Runcot Cru vineyard that was declassified and the single vineyards skipped in 2014. Surprised at how ripe the fruit is in the glass

Mar 2nd, 20202004 vintage. Medium ruby hue. Black sour cherry, smokey and slight earthiness. Violet petals. On the palate, medium acidity, medium plus fine tannins, medium plus alcohol. Medium finish. Decent. Drink now until 2022.
