Fenaughty Vineyard Syrah

So much delicious factor. And to take a page from the natural wine scene—digestible. Thanks @Matt Perlman and #edmundsstjohn for a fabulous valentines!

So light on its feet and pure. Classic red fruits. Really shows the potential of El Dorado

Meh. Oily, Olivey.

Smokey, spicy, steaky.

Primary notes of raspberry, rhubarb, cherry and hay with veins of game and olive. Pretty acidic structure and silky soft tannins but needs time to meld. 3 hours open makes a world of difference.

Too much muddled green, green plum, asparagus, not the peppery, meaty stuff I usually expect. Not faulty, just not for me.

Pepperoni.

Excellent Syrah.
