Absolutely beautiful and crowd pleasing thanksgiving wine. Mouth watering acidity, bell pepper, black currant, blackberries, raspberries, herbs and forest floor. — 20 days ago
Longtime favorite and I snap up this foxy number whenever I see it. Crunchy strawberry and herbs, a bit of animal and yeast at the end but not too much to compromise the freshness. I don’t think this ages and should be drunk up but that doesn’t make it any less special — 24 days ago
Predictably reductive and tight initially but incredible depth and purity here. Pandemic relief purchase back in 2020 from a restaurant cellar by the unfailingly generous @Steven Perlman — 18 days ago
No notes but the platonic ideal of a thanksgiving wine — 19 days ago
Quite restrained aromatically at first but opened up a bit over the course of the evening. Honeysuckle, marzipan, Meyer lemon, pit fruit and melon, stony finish, broad on the palate. Still a spot on thanksgiving pairing — 20 days ago
This can develop a while of course but nothing at all wrong with it right now with some choice southern-inspired thanksgiving leftovers. All about the garrigue and sun baked red fruit at this point, tertiary elements not really showing yet but ample structure to get there — 18 days ago
Light bodied, strawberry, herbal, musky. Drink up — 19 days ago
Extra zippy non-malo, Chardonnay-led style. Tangy yellow plum, lemon zest, flowers, mint, rocks. Lively and expressive — 20 days ago
Well structured, pretty accessible, great Nebbiolo typicity — a month ago

Wow. This stuff is crazy. So wild to think about what was going in the world when these PX grapes were drying out in the sun. So unctuous and thick, Christmas spice and burned rubber, balsamic glaze, chocolate syrup, prunes, butterscotch, somehow lively and even fresh. I don’t know from sherry but this was a real treat — 18 days ago
