Napa Valley - Carneros Merlot

Ripe stingy strawberries and bright cherries and then pounds the dark crumbly minerality.

Blind tasting. Pretty much what you would expect from Duckhorn. Great structure. Will cellar for five or more years.

Heavy on the black licorice flavor, with some red cherry notes as well. Not my favorite Duckhorn ir favorite Merlot

Great merlot!

Plum bouquet, earthy and velvety tannins, nice finish, light and easy to pair with food.

Goes well with spicy brisket.
