Just opened a 1981 that was not professionally cellared. Original price tag of $7.98! Brownish tint and clearly oxidized. Cork was still barely in tact. After 30 min or so opened up and was a pleasure. Still ok fruit and tanins were soft. A delightful experience. — 6 years ago
Delish. A little tight on opening but opened up with bright layered berry fruits, soft tannins and a delightful finish. — 8 years ago
Dark, rich ruby red with a burst of cocoa with a spicy finish on the nose. A solid malbec with bright fruit and good structure. Good lingering finish with a peppery expression. — 6 years ago
Such a surprise. Very clean fruit forward. Clean. Mire American style than French. — 8 years ago
Anyone who writes off Temecula has no idea what Joe Hart and his son Jim are able to do. This Syrah is huge. Big bold fruit with layers of nuances and a long smooth finish. On par with some of the best Cali Syrahs on the Central Coast and Napa/Sonoma. — 8 years ago
Full bodied. Deep dark fruit aromas and very long, smooth finish. — 6 years ago
2016. New experience. Reminiscent of Baileys! Lovely experience. — 6 years ago
2012 consumed 01/17. Outstanding. Full bodied blend. Great structure. Smooth tannins. Nuanced berry flavors. Best wine I have had from Temecula. Paired with what else? Italian food. — 8 years ago
Classic cab franc. Great structure. Big bold mouth feel. A little tight at first but opened up. To most cab francs have a narrow taste profile. Rather monolithic. This represents the varietal well. — 8 years ago

Wow wow wow. Big Bang citrus with lemon and grapefruit fruit. Very little oak if any. Maybe neutral barrel aging. Long, long finish. Acidity perfectly balanced. — 4 years ago
