Just opened a 1981 that was not professionally cellared. Original price tag of $7.98! Brownish tint and clearly oxidized. Cork was still barely in tact. After 30 min or so opened up and was a pleasure. Still ok fruit and tanins were soft. A delightful experience. — 7 years ago
