One of the top wines in Texas.

A well balanced wine with melon and stone fruits present throughout. Good acidity and long finish. Refreshing and consistent vintage after vintage.

Smells like green apples. Taste is more like pears and lemon peels with bright acidic finish.

Who knew you could grow decent wine in Tejas? I sure didn't. Everything may be bigger here, but this vermentino is restrained. I'm genuinely impressed. It's quite dry, tart melon and white pepper with a little oak (the right amount). The pepper dissipates as it opens up. Overall it ain't bad.

Got this on sale at HEB. The 2015 won a gold medal in San Francisco. I'm glad I bought them all. Medium body, fruit forward, not dry. Perfect for Texas summers.

Had last night after a lot of bourbon and a bottle of Stag's Leap Merlot. I know I really liked it, but I can't recall one damn tasting note. My head also hurts a little today.

This vintage is too acidic. 2012 was better
