Dry Riesling

Germanly dry. Kind of like Loew - could be serious, but works for some fun.

Nice wine. Acid was a little unbalanced for me but strong typicity for Pfalz and a good partner for fish and rice.

Vibrant youthfulness, full of intense citrus fruit, wet stone and acid on the palate. Nose more muted, probably needing some time to open up.

A little spritzy when first opened (and a bit too cold), but lovely concentrated fruit aromas and palate. Zingy acid. Lovely stuff. Getting better as it warms a little and opens up. Yum.

Beautiful freshness with acidity to match. Light bodied but packed with citrus, minerality and some stone fruit to round it out. Just lovely.

First course pairing. Scallops.
