Last night I opened the 2017 Dominio de Pingus Psi Tempranillo. From the Ribera Del Duero Spain.

On the nose there is black cherry, black plum, fig, tomato, leather, spice and earth.

On the palate is cherry, plum, black currant, clove, dill, cedar, mocha and a nice earthy component.

This wine is full bodied with medium+ acidity and medium + grainy tannins that goes into a long dark & red fruit fruit finish. Please stay safe and healthy for the weekend is upon us. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Wow what a good wine!! A blend of 86% Tinta del País/Tempranillo (from old vineyards), 12% Garnacha and 2% other grapes, including whites. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe fresh fruits, herb and complex spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with vanilla oak and cacao. Good balance, fine elegant tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice!

Front loaded with fruit. Has a rubbery component that puts me off.

Fantastic. Just the right amount of aggression; leathery, peppery, violet, briar, meat. Yum.

A little disappointing. Not particularly developed or complex at 10 years out. Became pretty drinkable with some air. But not Sisseck quality.
