Varietally fermented & aged. French oak (10-14 months), then assemblage.
Prominent roasted, smokey aromas, leather, blueberry, blackberry, menthol, coffee bean, clove, black pepper, dried violets, pencil shavings.
Ripe blackberry, blueberry, and plum; vanilla bean, cocoa nib, black pepper, crushed rock / graphite. Fresh acidity; tannins resolving nicely but still robust.
Drink now with food now or revisit in 2-3yrs. (Nb. variance has been a factor - some have peaked) — 4 months ago

Light salmon color. Aromas of watermelon and red berries. Bold red berry and watermelon fruit flavors with a nice hint of spice. Touch of salinity on the finish. Excellent wine and pairs well with a steak or lamb chops. Full bodied, aromatic and not as sweet as Cabs. Smooth finish and can taste the tannins — 2 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
A nice wine!! A blend of mostly Tinta del País/Tempranillo (from old vineyards), with a splash of Garnacha and other grapes, including whites. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe fresh fruits, herb and complex spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and blackberry with vanilla oak and cacao. Good balance, fine elegant tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit and earthy character. Very nice! — 7 hours ago
