1997(!) vintage. What a nice surprise. Still very much alive, a most pleasurable light Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. I would have never expected the entry level of Los Vascos to age this well. Abv. 12,5%.

It is International Cabernet Sauvignon day, so let's have a lot of those today.
A nice and simple Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon from the House of Rothschild Lafite. Showing black fruits with earth, vegetables, coffee, oak, vanilla and peppercorn.
Medium bodied with medium acidity.
A good everyday wine that could use a few more years in the bottle to mature.
100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.

One of the best cabs we've had. Light, fruity (not too fruity) and slightly dry. We used an aerator before we drank it and it increased the flavor dramatically. Will purchase again!
