Wild, intense aromatics: lychee, dragonfruit, white/yellow/purple flowers, melon, banana taffy / round and medium+ bodied on palate with med- to low acid, which has a slight bitterness to it / fruit aromas shift to some savory almond in the palate with persistent honeyed notes / high alcohol is apparent, but well integrated. Solid 🔥

Intensely ripe, floral nose with unmistakable spice character. Loads of clove and allspice. Lychee, lemon zest, honeysuckle, pineapple. Very dry with a lush mid palate, creamy mouthfeel and a roasted almond character on the finish. Amazingly fresh and vibrant on the palate for such a low-acid vintage. How this wine retains such freshness and lift on the palate at 3.9 ph is hard to believe, but it indeed has remarkable balance and purity. Not at all heavy or ponderous. I always love ZH.

Spicy aromas and flavors, lychee, lovely aged Gewurztraminer, this is a good bottle (prior bottle from last week was a dump, clearly dead), medium-long finish, good Gewurz!!

Excellent food wine with notes of apricots, orchard blossoms, flowers, minerals, and exotic fruits. Lovely finish.

Freshly cut grass honeysuckle peach floral and candied then dryer on the finish with some bitterness really moves around on the palate. Finish is really long

As an advocate of skin macerated whites, this is an enigma to me. Full-bodied (weight of Condrieu) overripe melon and raw ginger with white pepper on attack, then a sharp turn to high-pitched pineapple and fully dry finish. Weird shit. Crazy acid, even on day two.
